Technology Embraced Communities Helping Fitness Initiative Triumph
TechFIt is a 501c3 nonprofit organization located in the Northern area of Memphis, TN community that provides technology and healthy living resources that are currently unavailable in that area. Through partnerships with other local non-profits and businesses will offer technology, workforce development and healthy living training to local community residents.
Access to computers and the Internet and the ability to effectively use this technology with equipment are becoming increasingly important for full participation in America’s economy and health. Worldwide, people are learning in large numbers through technology and devices.
TechFit builds strong communities by harnessing the power of technology, fitness, and nutrition. We accomplish this by providing underserved and marginalized individuals access to technology and educational opportunities that improve their quality of life, health, and well-being.

Health and Wellness Expert
Co-Founder and Executive Director, Felicia Crayton will
oversee TechFit's Healthy Living program.
Plans are to locate the TechFit Center at 299 Chelsea Ave, Memphis, Tn, 38107. The building is owned by the SCCRA ( Shelby County Community Redevelopment Agency) and will be asked to be donated. The building is a Prehistoric Church that was an asset to the community in the early 1900’s. Keeping the mentality going forward with the future of it continuing to be asset to community with a mission of ”Health Is Wealth”. TechFit Center will provide the community with better health and technology training that will build stronger community. The location is more 7000sq and will be used to house variety of resources that will enhance the education, technology and heath of the community in which it services.
Interactive classroom that will 8-10 computer workstations. Students can be trained in adult literacy, computer repair, networking, graphic design, digital marketing, web design, etc.… These will self-paced and instructor taught with a certificate upon completion.
Interactive training room with treadmills, free weights, elliptical machine, exercise bands, etc… There will be instructor and self-paced physical and health education activities. There be a commercial kitchen for healthy cooking classes and meal prep.
